About Teresa Henry
THE LUCKY SUNFLOWER

Teresa Henry’s creative journey has been an inspiration to many. She developed a passion for art and visual communication at an early age and pursued a degree in Business Management and Fine Arts in college. After working for several companies, Teresa knew that she wanted to be her own boss and have the freedom to create on her terms.

In 1998, Teresa took the leap and started her first business, offering visual communication services to businesses and organizations. Despite the challenges of starting a new business, she worked tirelessly to build her reputation and perfect her craft. In 2008, she pivoted her business and began providing more art-related services under the name Strokes of Creativity. This allowed her to work on various projects while building a reputation for quality work and excellent customer service.

After ten years of freelancing, Teresa decided it was time to take her business to the next level. In 2018, she opened a brick-and-mortar shop and expanded to 10,000 sqft space by 2020. The new location enabled her to offer even more services, including art, handcrafted gifts, and art events. She also began providing space for micro-businesses, youth entrepreneurs, and class instructors, empowering others to pursue their dreams of entrepreneurship.

After running her brick-and-mortar shop for several years, Teresa made the decision to close it in 2022 and take a step back. This break allowed her to recharge and refocus on what she loves most – creating. She believes in the power of hard work, determination, and following your passion, and this philosophy has been central to her success as a creative entrepreneur.

Nowadays, Teresa works with numerous small businesses and organizations as a full-time creative consultant and artist. She brings her wealth of experience in art, graphic design, and crafting to help her clients achieve their goals and bring their visions to life. Teresa’s dedication to her craft and her passion for creativity continue to inspire those around her.

When you see Teresa’s creations, you’ll notice her belief in complete creative flow and experimentation. She doesn’t limit herself to one style or medium and enjoys using art supplies to make cool things. Whether she’s getting lost in her creations or supporting her community, Teresa is always living a big, beautiful, and creative life.
